Sweden commercial vehicle manufacturer, Volvo India announced the trial-run of its 14.5-metre-long multi-axle low floor city bus ‘Volvo7400XL’ in Bangalore, India. This city bus is considered to be the Asia’s longest of 14.5 meter bus. Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) held the run.
It can carry a people of about 110 at a time.Volvo 7400XL is powered by the Volvo 7-litre diesel engine, with 290 hp of power.It is also equipped with a turbocharger and an intercooler.
