TRS MLA should be disqualified

Ramesh Babu who won as the TDP MLA from Vemulawada constituency in 2009 resigned from TDP and decided to contest on the TRS ticket in the 2010 by-election and won. His citizenship came under scrutiny back in 2009 when the Congress filed a complaint against him on grounds of having an illegal secondary source of income (as a professor in Germany). Today MP Ponnala filed a complaint with the speaker, stating the above, adding that there was hardly any development in Vemulawada and that over the past 3 years Ramesh Babu was in India for less than 100 days, which was not acceptable. MP Ponnala has requested the speaker to initiate action against Ramesh Babu for the same.
