"Sri Andhra Kala sravanthi" Cultural association of Telugu people have organized a function for Awards presentations and Musical show on 30thDec2012 at Andhra club,chennai.Prasad Thotakura president of TANA ,Achaiah kumar rao president of Telugu Association, Malaysia are the chief guests of the function. Huge crowds of Telugu associations participated and made the event a grand success.
Function Highlights :
Anchor of the function a famous lyricist Vennalakanti started the function by paying respect to the Delhi gang rape victim Nirbhaya.
The function started with Musical show ,which was well organized by G Anand (Music director) with special attractions of the "Allapana" Musical show singers.Pavan(MAA TV winner),Hari priya(Vijay TV and Zee TV Fame),Mounika (MAA TV padalani undi winner) ,Sarath Chandra (E-Tv Padutha Theeyaga) and Little champ Pravasthi performed the songs on the stage.
Special guests TANA president Thotakura Prasad ,Achaiah Kumar rao was honored by cultural association president M.S Murthy ,Treasurer G.V.Ramana and Secretary J.M.Naidu .
TANA President Thotakura prasad expressed his delight at being part of the function. He spoke about the value of Telugu language and how it is getting ignored now days .He said ,the responsibility of teaching Telugu lies with the mother. He also said that ,we have to learn English but in the mean time we need to respect our mother tongue Telugu.Achaiah kumar spoke about the importance of Telugu and how they are trying to develop awareness about Telugu language in Malayasia.They both appreciated the efforts which are being taken by Local Telugu associations in Chennai.
After gesture speech, They distributed prizes to the people who performed well in Telugu schools in and around Chennai and also winners to participants of cultural activities which was organized by Telugu association .
G.Raj kumar IAS ,ASCA President Subba reddy and former Presidents Adiseshaiah ,G.Chinnaiah and CP Brown president R.Koteswara rao and local telugu association members participated in the event.
