ESL Narasimhan was sworn-in on Thursday as AP governor for second consecutive term.

The 67-year-old former police officer from the Andhra Pradesh cadre retired as the Director of the Intelligence Bureau in 2006 and was appointed the governor of Chattisgarh in 2007 and of Andhra Pradesh in 2009-2012. And his term got extended for next five years.

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister C. Damodar Rajanarsimha, Legislative Council chairman A. Chakrapani, Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar, several Ministers, Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi, Director-General of Police V. Dinesh Reddy and other officials were present for his swearing-in Ceremony and congratulated Narasimhan.
